Getting ready for the Microsoft Skypathon

Today we watched a few Skypeathon videos and we thought of ideas for our own Skypeathon plan. Here are some of our ideas
JOBS
Greeter -1 student – Greets the incoming class by speaking about our class and going over the rules BUT no giving away of our location. At the end of the call they are also the ones that thank for the call. 

Questioner –they are the kids that ask the yes or no questions, often it is beneficial if we have a decent grasp of geography and can come up with questions on the fly. We should write down our questions beforehand.

Answerer – 1 student – answers yes or no to the questions and should have a good grasp of geography. Holds up a yes or No sign.

Google Mappers – 2 students – Use Google Maps to try to help with questions or find the answer. .

Wall map & atlas mappers –are using any map tools they can to come up with more questions.

Photographer – takes photos of what is happening


TYPES OF YES NO QUESTIONS

Then try to get the north sea east west location
After that try to get the country
Then try to get the city
Does it snow in winter?

OTHER IDEAS
Each person thinks of other questions for afterwards
Two people hold the South African flag.
Bring a recording of the anthem to sing to
Have a yes sign and a No sign
Always say name before asking a question
Ask questions one to one about what you would like to be one day.
Show a PowerPoints of the country with each person talking about one slide. 
Write out the questions
Afterwards works out the kilometres travelled.

How to add a video to a post

To day we are learning how to add a video to a blog.

I went to you tube and then i went to share and then clicked enbed and coped the code and then put it in HTML and then i whent to compose and there it was



    

Spoted flamingo

we had to make a bird on night zoo keeper

It was pink with yellow spots and you would think such a butiful bird and i would have thought that it would not exist but does.. The bird made a few sounds and then it flew off. I hope i see one again some time.
It was a male.
the animal lives in bettwen some bushes.
the bird disliked all the sounds off my Land Rover.
and the bird looks to be 4 years old and from my research  the get about 14 years old.

I had  monster- riffic idea lets go and get a ice-cram what flavor i know straw-berry and lets go go skating to  the mountain for skating  board down the ramp and in the ocean  and as Roger whent down the mountain  he fell and started rolling as he reched the bottem he flew into the air and into the water and ale a sudden James and Ben started running down but they could not swim nicely . luckley
 they found a man walking a long the pathway they called him and he ran over he jumbed water to help him and no the shoe  was a old oldish man he was angry that all children were miss behaving so he whent  to the police to complian.

The beach is very popelr where i live i am  trying to make it as a phize-wiz lifeguard but i am working on it anyway back to subject we have lots of old people in this town and they complian a lot when children miss behave or some thing like that..

We have a lot of tourists around here now our poping-wizer is Mr Jonson our class teacher I think he is a bit crazy!! Don't tell anyone he gave me a month detenshion which of cors i think he is crazy
